SUPERVISOR

marie Wall

When I left school my first job was working for an estate agents covering maternity leave, and then I went on to work for a car leasing company.
My childcare career began when I started working at a local primary school supervising after-school clubs, lunchtime supervision and classroom support, and this is where my passion for working with children began.
To gain and complete qualifications in childcare, I went to work in a nursery with children aged from 3 months to 4 years old, and by 2012 I qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare.
I joined Little Learners’ in 2012 and gained a Diploma in Children and Young People, taking me to Level 3. I particularly enjoy our one-one and adult-led and creative activities with the children. Seeing our children settle, gain confidence and develop in nursery is very rewarding.
In February 2020 I accepted the offer of promotion to supervisor in the nursery and am delighted to take on the responsibility.
At home I have a French Bulldog called Boris who is very mischievous and the the children like hearing my stories about him. I have a younger brother and sister who live locally and both attended Little Learners’ nursery.
Interests: In my free time I enjoy interior design, going for walks, cooking and trips away.
