I have many years experience as a cook in the hospitality trade. I understand the importance of food hygiene and have food hygiene Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
Previously I have worked as the manager of Merchants Tea Rooms in Bewdley before moving to a part time role at Clementine’s in the town. When this business ceased to trade I moved on to the GoApe cafe assistant at the Wyre Forest. After having surgery I wanted to resume a career in the catering industry but with reduced hours. Having worked voluntarily previously in a nursery I knew I would enjoy working with the children.
I love trying out different things to make sure the children are well-fed and get the all important nutrition that they require. Outside of work I have a son and two daughters, 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3
INTERESTS: I enjoy reading and attend a book club, do Tai Chi, swimming and walk my dog.
