WHO ARE WE?...
Little Learners’ is a private day nursery for boys and girls situated in the grounds of the old school house gardens of Bayton C of E School. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by the beautiful countryside in the rural village of Bayton.
The nursery was opened in 1997. It is a purpose built building planned for the safety and comfort for all the children in our care. We are currently able to accommodate up to 24 children per session.
What we do
We are Oftsed registered and subject to their criteria. Our most recent inspection rated us ‘good’. We have achieved Gold in the ‘Growing Together’ accreditation scheme to ensure quality standards. All of our staff bar one are fully qualified and all are subject to DBS checks. Additionally, all of our professionals are carefully selected to ensure best practice. Our pre-school children are continually assessed to ensure progress, and individual attention is given to each and every child. Keyworkers are assigned to each child to monitor and record development. Qualified staff are always in attendance and work as a team to provide a stimulating and happy environment for children to raise their full potential. Staffing ratios will be as or above that advised by Ofsted.
We offer childcare from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (or 5pm in school holidays) for 50 weeks of the year for children aged from 2 – 11 years. This runs in the form of Breakfast Club (8am-9am), then Pre-School from 9am until 3pm for those aged 2 to 5 years. After school club runs from 3.25pm until 6pm. We offer home-cooked meals, breakfast, snack, lunch and tea. We close for two weeks at Christmas.
